Hair Care Routine | Vo5

Hello Lovelies. Welcome back to Beautiful You.

Having long hair naturally makes taking care of it a huge task and that's one of the reasons why I am tempted to chop my hair off all the time, however I don't think I could ever actually go through with it. Recently the ends of my hair have become increasingly dry and brittle which I obviously wasn't happy about so I went to Boots on a hunt for a rescue treatment. These are what I thought I'd try out, Vo5 Give Me Moisture Treatment Mask, Vo5 Nourish My Shine Miracle Mist and I also bought a replacement Vo5 Miracle Concentrate Elixir with Argon Oil.

I shall start with the product that I use first, this is the Treatment Mask which gives your hair 'intensive hydration & stunning softness with 5 vital oils', you have a shower as normal  and then instead of using normal conditioner you lather the product through you hair from about the middle downwards, particularly focusing on the ends and then leave it in for 1-3 minutes, or how ever long you want to leave it for but that is what it recommended. Then you wash it out, or in my case brush it out first with a wide tooth comb and then rinse the rest out and it leaves you hair noticeable smoother straight away! This retails in Boots for £4.39 for 300ml but hair care is currently on 3 for 2 in my local boots, which makes buying it even more worth it!

After I have finished having a shower, I towel dry my hair so that most of the moisture is out. I then drop a few drops of the Miracle Concentrate onto the palm of my hand which I then work into the mid-lengths and ends of my hair, which you then leave in and carry on with the rest of you hair routine. It leaves you have shiny and visibly smoother. Using this in conjunction with the treatment mask twice a week on Wednesday and Sunday gives it that extra boost that my hair sometimes needs! However, the price is a little off putting, the price tag being a fairly heavy £5.19 for 50ml but it is definitely worth it and a little goes a long way!

The last product that I bought to try out was the Miracle Mist, this is essentially the hair oil in spray form as it has the same five essential oil blend and satin silk extracts. When you have towel dried you hair and again got most of the moisture out spray this product sparingly through your hair and then comb it through and then style as usual. The extra benefit from this product is that it also provides heat defence whilst blow drying. This also retails in Boots for £4.39 for 150ml which is a bargain in my opinion.

I would highly recommend any of these products, especially the hair oil and I have been using this for longer than the others and the results are remarkable! They all have the same scent, which the only way I can describe it is as a musky, vanillaery sweet scent, but it is a lovely smell none the less! As I said, if any of you have the same problem as me with your hair then these products are a must have.

As always, I hope you enjoyed this blog post and if there is anything that you would like to see on here, let me know!
