Make-up Storage | At University

Hello Lovelies. Welcome back to Beautiful You.

As you all know by now I have moved to university and obviously I couldn't take all my make up with me so I had to be selective with what I took. At first when I arrived I didn't have anywhere to store it so my and my family went to Next and bought a set of wicker draws that would fit underneath my mirror in my room, they were £35 but I got staff discount so they were about £26.

Each drawer is organised into a different area, the top one for face products, the second one for eyes, the third for lips and the bottom is for tablets and other bits! As I was only able to take a select amount of make up this is what I decided on. For face products there is the Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation in 100 Ivory, Two Stay Matte Powders in Transparent, a Natural Collection Blusher in Pink Cloud, Bourjois Bronzing Primer, Collection concealer in 1 Fair, Smashbox Photo Finish Primer, Benefit Porefessional Primer, elf Blusher in Pink Passion, Benefit Hoola Bronzer, a pair of eyelash curlers and a sample of the new Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation.

The second drawer has all of my eye products, this is where I found it hard to choose what to take and what not to take and I think I've got to much but it fits! I wanted to have a variety so I took both my Naked 2 palette and my Naked Basics palette as they have really versatile colours. I also have my elf palette that is specifically for simmer shades, but I have no idea what it is called. In addition to these colours I also have three Maybelline Colour Tattoos, one in 65- Pink Gold, one in 40-Permanent Taupe and one in 35-On and on Bronze and there is also my M.A.C eye shadow in Jaunty. I have a small collection of mascaras with me, the Collection Skyscraper Mascara, Miss Sporty Studio Lash and Maybelline the Falsies Mascara. Underneath the mascaras there is a models own black eye liner, a Topshop liquid pen eye liner and an elf eye shadow primer in sheer.

The last drawer that had make up in is for lip products. I really took to many but oh well, it was a hard decision. Firstly I bought the Nivea lip butter in Caramel Cream and the Lush Lip Scrub in Bubblegum. I have eight lip sticks and three Stila lip glazes. The two Topshop lip sticks are Brighton Rock and Innocent, the 17 lipstick is Hot Flash, the two elf lipsticks are Blush and Nicely Nude, the Revlon Lip Butter is in the shade Cotton Candy, the Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick is shade 12 and lastly my Elizabeth Arden lipstick in the shade Perfect Plum. The three Stila lip glazes are in the shades Holly, Splendor and Black Cherry, I also have one elf lip gloss in the shade Dragonfruit. Lastly in this drawer is my Babylips collection, I have the pink one which is called Pink Punch, the nude/peach one which is called Peach Kiss, the red one which is called Cherry Me and lastly the colourless one which is called Intense Care.

And in the last draw it holds bits and pieces really, nothing in particular. Firstly, cotton wool buds for if I make a mistake with my make up, my hay fever tablets, ibuprofen, paracetamol, hair grips and some other tablets.

On top of the unit I just put my GHDs in their bag, they are quite old so I don't think you can get them any more, and my make up brushes. These are a combination of real techniques, the foundation and powder brushes, elf brushes, a models own foundation brush and a few odd other brushes. I think I bought the pot that they are in at the Range in Swindon. And lastly down on the floor on the left hand side I just keep my Urban Decay 'All Nighter' makeup setting spray and my small bottle of MAC fix+ from when me and my sister went on holiday that she was so kind as to give me.

So there was how I store my make up at university, I hope you enjoyed it. As always if there is anything that you want to see on here, let me know and I will try my best to get it up!

Love

Megan
