Everyday Make-up Routine | Quick and Simple

Hello Lovelies. Welcome back to Beautiful You!

I thought I would share my normal morning make-up routine with you all, giving you some opinions be it good or bad (well if I use them everyday, they can't be that bad!)

So I start of my cleansing (you can see what I use in my night time skin care routine) and moisturising my face, in the mornings I use a different moisturiser than at night and the one I use is the Nivea Visage Pure and Natural Moisturising Day Cream for normal to combination skin. I then prime my skin using Benefits Porefessional Primer, I love this primer because it actually makes you make-up last a lot longer than it would without even though the price tag is a bit off putting, its a worth while investment in my opinion.

Once I have primed my skin I then move on to foundation, I have recently changed my foundation because it had been making my skin look more and more oily! I previously been using Rimmel's Wake Me Up Foundation in 100 Ivory which is a dewy formulation so I changed to Rimmel's Stay Matte Foundation in 100 Ivory but to apply both of them I use my Real Techniques Buffing Brush in circular motions. I am literally in love with this foundation and it has been a god send since the oily skin situation! Then if I haven't had a good night sleep or if I'm having a bad time with spots then I will uses the Rimmel's Wake Me Up Concealer in 100 Ivory to cover them up, this has really good coverage and reduces the appearance of under eye pigmentation.  To set my foundation I use Rimmel's Stay Matte translucent powder which I apply with my Real Techniques Powder Brush and this makes me skin stay matte all day long and there is no need for my to re apply this which is amazing in my opinion.

After I have set my foundation I then move on to contorting and blusher, at the moment my favourite bronzer is the Bourjois Delice de Poudre Bronzing Powder and I apply this with the elf Complexion Brush, the bronzer smells and looks amazing. In my opinion the fact that it doesn't have that much shimmer in it was a bonus because I don't like to contour with a shimmery bronzer. My blusher of choice at the moment is a new for me; both with the colour and the consistency, it is a cream blusher which I am not really used to and it is a peachy colour. I'm not 100% sure of the colour name but it is from the Contouring Blush and Bronzing cream in St Lucia from Elf and I apply this with the Real Techniques Contour Brush, the blusher is a new purchase and I'm really happy with it so far, love the colour and I am definitely going to try out more cream blushers!

After completing my face I move on to my eyes. Firstly I apply my eye shadow primer; this is again from elf, it is called the Eyelid Primer in Sheer, I only use this because occasionally in the morning my eye lids can be slightly oily, I just apply this with my ring finger. I then apply a Maybelline Colour Tattoo in 65- Pink Gold again with my ring finger all over my eye lid, this holds its colour for a long time which is is amazing! Then I either leave it like that or if I can be bother or have longer to get ready I apply Naked 2 from the Naked Basics Palette through my crease to add definition to my eye, I do this with the elf Profession Blending Eye Brush. Once this is done I move on to eye liner and at the moment I've been loving powder eye shadow and I use Crave from the same Naked Basics palette with a small angled brush to draw a thin line along my lash line. I have also recently changed my mascara from Maybelline the Falsies to Benefit's Their Real and I have fallen in love, my eyelashes are naturally long anyway so I am lucky in the fact that any mascara I use makes them look long but this mascara takes it a step further. It clearly defines the lashes and doesn't clump them together at all and lie it says in the same it makes it appear like you are wearing false eye lashes, simply my new favourite.

Then depending on what I am doing I will either pop on a lip stick or lip gloss and that's it! Really quick and simple, but it is a good staple look for everyday! If there are any products in this post that you want me to review individually then let me know and I would be more than willing! I will pop a photo at the bottom with all the products I used and what my everyday make-up looks like. I hope you enjoyed this post and let me know what you would like to see on here!
