Book Review #1 | Paper Towns - John Green

Hello Lovelies. Welcome back to Beautiful You!

I thought that I would try something different on here and I have recently read a really amazing book and I wanted to share it with you so I decided to do a book review. This is the first time I have ever done anything like this so please don't judge me against other book blogger, but here you go!

I have heard so much hype about John Green and I have always wanted to read some of his books. Then when I moved to university and I found out my flat mate has a book blog (here); on which she rated his books highly, I finally caved and bought ‘The Fault in our Stars’. I read three pages of this book and began to cry so I thought that I would read one of his lighter reads before jumping in at the deep end, I chose ‘Paper Towns’.

Quentin Jacobsen has spent a lifetime loving the magnificently adventurous Margo Roth Spiegelman from afar. So when she cracks open a window and climbs back into his life - dressed like a ninja and summoning him for an ingenious campaign of revenge - he follows. After their all-nighter ends and a new day breaks, Q arrives at school to discover that Margo, always an enigma, has now become a mystery. But Q soon learns that there are clues - and they're for him. Urged down a disconnected path, the closer Q gets, the less Q sees the girl he thought he knew. (source)

My Opinion:
The way in which John Green writes is amazing, he has the power to keep the readers hooked to every single page, I literally couldn't put this book down and I had finished it within 24 hours. The plot and the characters are just perfect and you cannot help but find yourself relating to the story and laugh uncontrollably at some of the events that occur. It was an easy read that I can see myself going back to over and over again, the typical book that I'd keep on my bookshelf all the time!

There is just my short review on the book, if you want a more in depth one go on and head over to my flat mates blog that I linked below and read hers! I hope you enjoyed this slightly different post for and who knows if you like it I may do more so let me know in the comments! I shall be doing more Christmas/Winter post on here too, which I think would make a nice change. Thank you for reading as usual and I let me know if there is anything else that you would like to see on here and I shall try my best!
