My Holiday Reads 2014!

Hello Lovelies. Welcome back to Beautiful You!

As some of you may know I am currently on holiday in Aberdovey, Wales at my grandads house! Now as you know Wales is known for it's bad weather and we are forecast our fair share of rain so I thought that I would come prepared with three books to read over my break. I had been recommended a few of these and then one I had to buy because I loved the author. I hope you like seeing what I picked and if any of them are particularly good then you may see a review coming soon, let me know if you would like reviews in the comments!

1. Along For The Ride - Sarah Dessen
I have never read any books by this author before but me and my uni friends took a trip to Cirencester and went into a small independent book shop called Octavia's. Whilst we were in there my book blogger friend Rebecca (Will link blog here) told me that if I wanted an easy book to read over the summer then this would be the perfect author to choose. Then after seeing the front cover I thought that it looked really summer and I had to buy it!

2. Landline - Rainbow Rowell
I am a massive massive fan of this author and I have read her other 4 books and completely loved them. Therefore naturally when she brought out a new one I had to buy it, I even got it in hardback because I couldn't wait for it to come out in paper back. I am super excited to read this book and I can't recommend this author enough.

3. Dash & Lily's Book of Dares - Rachel Cohn & David Levithan
Rebecca also recommended that I buy this book because as some of you may know I am going to New York at the end of October and this book is set there. Therefore I asked for it for my birthday from some friend and when I recieved it they also gave me a pop up map guide to New York which I think is the best thing since sliced bread! I have started to read this and I am already hooked, there are a few places that I now want to go thanks to this book.

I hope you enjoyed seeing which books I chose to being away with me and like I said if you would like to see any reviews on either of the books then just let me know in the comments and after I've read them I will get them up. I am going to try and keep on schedule with my blog but my grandad's internet isn't the best so I can't promise anything! Hope you are all well and I will see you again on Friday hopefully!

  5. i'm currently reading Fan Girl (I think) by Rainbow Rowell. Green cover? I'm only a few chapters in and kind of struggling to get into it, and unfortunately it's not something I'm in a rush to pick up and carry on reading - even if I do really want to finish it, and will. I'm not sure why I can't get into it, it's something my 14 year old self would love, I just think I've moved on to much older, grown up novels. Maybe I'll get more into it as the story unfolds, at the moment not a lot is happening x
