Teen Blog Series Week 8 | Beauty Tips!

Hello Lovelies. Welcome back to Beautiful You!

So this week's teen blog series instalment is titled beauty tips, this is a very vague topic and can be interpreted very differently and I'm going to add an autumnal twist to mine. I'm going to share my top 5 beauty tips that I live by in the autumn winter time!

1. Moisturise- I thought that I would start with the most obvious one and that is the fact that you need too moisturise. This is more and more important in the up coming months because as the weather gets colder this take a toll on your skin and it becomes more apparent if you don't rehydrate and nourish your skin after you have been out in the cold. My favourite would be one by Simple Skincare as it is a brilliant product and a low price tag which is brilliant for those on a budget.

2. Plum Lips- it is so much easier to experiment with darker lips during October/November time and this is something that I love doing. My favourite is a deep pink at the moment, for example Revlon Lip Butter in the shade Lollipop, this is perfect as it isn't too dark but it still have the autumnal feel to it. I also want to get Rebel by Mac this year and I have wanted it for so long and I am feeling brave this year.

3. Blusher- I tend to lean more towards orange blushers in the winter months just because they give the skin more of a glow. Having deep orange shades also adds warmth to your face which you may not necessarily get outside seen as it is freezing. One of my favourite would be Peaches by Mac as it isn't too orange but it still gives that sense of warmth that is brilliant for autumn winter.

4. Lip Balms- it is so important to keep your lips hydrated, much like your skin it is so easy for the cold weather to affect your lips and make them chapped. I always have numerous lip balms in my bag and the ones that I am always reaching for are the EOS lip balms, not only do they really hydrate your lips and last for a long time but they also taste amazing!!

5. Baths- this vaguely ties in with the theme but I'm putting it in here anyway because I have recently come across some amazing products. I am more swayed towards a bath in the autumn winter time just because I love having a long soak to get warm and out of the cold. As you will all know Zoella has recently launched her own line and I have been loving the Fizz Bar and Bath Soak, they are the perfect combination for the best bubble bath ever!

I hope you enjoyed reading my beauty tips and leave a comment below of the things that you have to do in the autumn winter months, be it skincare, makeup or anything. This series is nearing the end now and I am so glad that I was a part of it, I will see you all again on Wednesday for another post!
