Get The Look | Kylie Jenner's 90s Lip!

Hello Lovelies. Welcome back to Beautiful You!

Recently I have been rather obsessed with Kylie Jenner and the make-up that she wears, it always looks so simple but classy at the same time. So therefore I tried to do my own take on one of her make-up looks and I thought that I would share it with you. This isn't perfect and it isn't identical to the original as I changed it to suit my face shape a bit more but none the less I hope you like it!

I started with my eyes because I knew there would probably be a lot of fall out from the shadow I used and I didn't want to have to re do my foundation. First I used MACs Painterly Paint Pot all over my eye lids as I needed a matte base to work on top of. Then I move on to warming up the crease with Naked from the Naked Palette and then I warmed that up even more with a cranberry eye shadow from the Make-up Revolution Run Boy Run Palette.I then just made sure that the lid was still as light as possible by going over it with Naked 2 from the Naked Basics Palette! The last thing I did in terms of eye shadow was I lined my top lash line with a matte black shadow, I used Crave from the Basics Palette again. Then to top it all off I added a slight wing with liquid liner and then used my mascara of choice on my lashes which at the moment is Better Than Sex from Too Faced!

For the rest of my face I used my normal everyday foundation which is the Naked Skin Foundation from Urban Decay (you can get it here), I did have to use it on a different brush than normal because I left the one I would use at home. Then I went in with my concealer which is currently Kick Ass by Soap & Glory and then I set that with the powder in the compact. Then to warm up my face I used Golden Bronzer from MAC around my temples and into my hair line, Kylie is more contoured than I am in this picture but I find contouring really hard on my face and I need to learn properly! Next up I used the shade Luminous Flush from the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush Palette because Kylie doesn't appear to wear that much blush as this just gives your face a really lovely glow. Then to complete my face I filled in my eyebrows how I would on a day to day basis with Soap & Glory's Archery Pen!

Then for the famous 90s lip that Kylie tends to rock a lot of the time I paired a MAC lip liner with two Rimmel lipsticks together. I lined my lips first with MACs Dervish lip liner and then went over the top with Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick in 03, however I found this to be a little but to light so went on top with Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick in Asia 077 which created the perfect lip in my opinion!

I haven't done a post like this on my blog for so long so I thought I would change it up a bit and I really like the make-up look! If you recreate this or use this as inspiration for a make-up look be sure to tweet me pictures and I will check them out. I still have a giveaway running which I shall leave a link to here and I shall see you all soon!
